Adoption Post-Placement Services in Arizona
If you’re a birth mother considering adoption, one question may be popping up in your head. “After I’ve finished delivering and placing my baby up for adoption, what’s next?” We here at Adoption Choices of Arizona are here to guide and help birth mothers with questions like these. Our adoption agencies across Arizona offer several post-placement services that can aid your recovery after delivery. All of which are parts of your adoption plan that our adoption specialists will help you with when the time comes. Post-placement after delivery is just as important as the rest of the adoption process that comes before it. Helping birth mothers through their unplanned pregnancies is our mission. And those of us at Adoption Choices of Arizona are here to help see your adoption process to the end.
Plan of Action for Your Unplanned Pregnancy
Our adoption specialists are here to help you through the process of recovery. This includes services such as further counseling with our staff and additional support from our adoption agency. Additional therapy and medical care are potential services our adoption specialists can offer to birth mothers who need them. During this time, counseling for birth mothers is available at absolutely no extra charge. This allows birth mothers to recuperate after the delivery once the baby is safe with their adoptive family. Our commitment to those seeking adoption in Arizona is to make your experience with us as comfortable as possible.
Post-Placement Visits and Relationships
If chosen, your post-placement process then includes some form of further communication with your baby’s adoptive family. Our adoption agency uses ChildConnect to connect adoptive parents with you throughout your child’s development. Once both parties agree, you and your baby’s adoptive parents will use this service to communicate your child’s development. Images and letters showing you your baby’s growth will be provided at a minimum. And you are more than free to communicate with your baby’s adoptive parents on your relationship’s boundaries.
This is done to ensure that you’ll have some form of closure or sense of relief once the adoption process has been said and done. While some birth mothers may prefer to be absent once the baby has been delivered, others may want to have some kind of connection with their birth child. And would like to see how their birth child is doing once they make it out of the delivery room—deciding on what’s best for you and how our counselors can help you can make your road to recovery as pleasant as possible—relieving any potential stress that may come as a result of the unplanned pregnancy.
Additional Care and Services
Our mission is to ensure that you get the unplanned pregnancy help you need. This means that even after your baby has been delivered, you’re still within our umbrella of care. Our adoption agency makes sure that birth mothers are recovered enough after birth. So that you’re comfortable with getting back on your feet once your adoption plan has been completed, talk to your adoption specialist when you feel prepared and ready, and they’ll do their best to help you as best they can.
