Why Do Women in Arizona Choose Adoption?
There are a variety of reasons why women in Arizona choose to place their children for adoption, and no reason is more valid than the other. Some birth mothers feel that they cannot adequately provide for another child. Parenting is expensive, so choosing another family to adopt your child may be your best option if you are not in a great financial situation.
Other birth mothers choose adoption for their children because they are addicted to drugs or homeless. We do not judge at Adoption Choices of Arizona; all birth mothers are welcome here. Some women decide they want to give a family the opportunity to start or expand their own family. Whatever your reasons are for choosing adoption in Arizona, know that they are valid. Our job is to help all of our birth mothers.
Does Adoption Choices of Arizona Help All Birth Mothers With Adoption?
Yes, we do. The first step of the Arizona adoption process if you are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy is to contact us at Adoption Choices of Arizona via call or text. After you make initial contact, we will assign you an adoption facilitator. Your adoption facilitator will guide you through the adoption process and ensure that you understand everything surrounding your impending adoption.
Next, your adoption facilitator will assist you in creating an adoption plan. An adoption plan is your personalized plan for adoption. It includes everything from the type of adoption you would like to who you would like to adopt your baby. Adoption plans are specific to the birth mother, and while there are similarities, no two are alike. If you are currently pregnant and looking for adoption help, your adoption specialist will request proof of pregnancy.
The next step of the adoption process is to ensure you have adequate medical care. Your adoption facilitator will help you find a doctor and even make sure that you have transportation to and from your doctor’s appointments.
After we help you find a doctor, we will present you with prospective adoptive family profiles. You can choose whichever family you would like. Be sure to ask yourself questions like “What kind of life do I want my child to have?” or “Do I want my child to have siblings?” Questions like these will help you pick the best family for your baby.
Adoption Choices of Arizona also provides financial assistance to all of its birth mothers. Financial assistance can include money for rent, groceries, transportation, and maternity clothes. Our goal is to make this adoption process as easy as possible for you, and you should not have to worry about basic necessities during your pregnancy.
Your adoption counselor will be present during labor and delivery as an advocate for you. Your child will leave the hospital with their adoptive parents, and you will give your consent to the adoption at a later date. You can participate in a goodbye dinner with the adoptive family, but this is not compulsory. You should receive updates and photographs approximately one month after delivery. Your expenses will continue to be paid for one month.
