How Can I Keep My Pregnancy a Secret?

We prioritize discretion at Adoption Choices of Arizona. Our conversations with you are completely confidential, and we would never share anything you say or any information regarding you or your impending adoption with anyone. The first step of your adoption journey is to contact us. If you decide adoption is the best choice for you, the next step is to create an adoption plan.

Adoption plans are your customized plans for putting a child up for adoption. This is where you decide who you want to adopt your baby; the kind of adoption you want, and your birth plan. You can contact us via phone or text to begin your adoption journey today. After you call or text, we arrange an initial meeting. If you cannot come to use, an adoption facilitator will come to you. During this initial meeting, you will fill out any required paperwork, and you may be asked to bring proof of pregnancy with you. The next step is to determine what kind of assistance you may need.

We offer financial, medical, housing, and legal assistance to all of our birth mothers. Financial assistance can include help with rent, bills, and groceries. Our goal is to alleviate any additional stressors you may be experiencing during your pregnancy; you should not have to worry about food or shelter during this delicate time in your life. We also ensure that you are receiving adequate medical care throughout your pregnancy. The health of you and your baby is of the utmost importance during this time, which is why we help you find an OB/GYN and arrange transportation if necessary.

We also make sure you have a safe place to stay during and after your pregnancy. Alternative housing may be best if you wish to keep your pregnancy a secret. Maybe you do not want the birth father or your family and friends to know you are pregnant or that you plan on choosing adoption for your baby.

Your adoption facilitator will also ensure that you have an adoption attorney who will guide you through the legal aspect of the adoption process. Your adoption attorney’s responsibility is to make sure that you understand the legal process and your rights. This is also where the types of assistance you need are determined.

Adoption Choices of Arizona provides supportive counseling to all of our birth mothers. We offer one-on-one, group, and birth mother retreat counseling. Because you want to keep your pregnancy a secret, one-on-one counseling would be your best option. Our one-on-one counseling sessions are completely confidential and tailored to you and your needs. You can ask any questions you would like or address any fears or concerns you may have regarding adoption.

The 3 Types of Adoption

There are three main types of adoption: open, semi-open, and closed. Open adoptions involve open communication between you and the adoptive parents. You will receive photographs and periodic updates about the child in a closed adoption. Your adoption facilitator mediates Semi-open adoptions. You will still receive photographs and updates about the child but only through your adoption facilitator; there is no direct contact between you and the adoptive parents in a semi-open adoption. Closed adoptions are best if you want to maintain your privacy. There is no contact whatsoever between you and the adoptive family in a closed adoption. The only information the adoptive family and your child will receive about you is your medical history.

Your Privacy is Important Throughout the Adoption Process

When seeking pregnant adoption help and choosing to place your baby for adoption, your adoption plan is 100% determined by you and your needs. If you wish to keep your pregnancy/adoption private, that is your prerogative. We never force you to make a decision you are not comfortable with; we are here to guide you and fulfill the conditions of your adoption and birth plans. We never divulge any of your personal information to outside sources, and our adoptions are confidential.

Adoption Choices of Arizona is your number one source for all things adoption-related. We have offices in Tucson, Phoenix, and Flagstaff, with adoption counselors ready to assist you.
